HRI RACECOURSES

Navan Racecourse is located just outside Navan Town and is a left-handed oval track of one mile and four furlongs with a testing uphill finish of approximately two furlongs. The straight sprint track at Navan is nearly six furlongs in length. The track is best described as a 'big galloping track' and consequently attracts many high-class runners. Season racegoers have the opportunity to see 'talking horses' before they appear at major festivals.

There is racing action at Navan throughout the calendar year with the racecourse hosting approximately 18-19 fixtures  with a mixture of top class jumps and flat racing. Some of the highlights include the Navan Racing Festival in November, Cusack Hotel Group Family Day in July as well as our Christmas Party racedays in December.
