Horse Racing Ireland’s Strategy Department, lead by Jason Morris, Director of Strategy, is responsible for the development and execution of HRI’s Strategic Plan.
Jason Morris - Director of Strategy
As Director of Strategy at Horse Racing Ireland, Jason leads the Strategy team within HRI, where his focus is on the delivery and execution of HRI's Strategic Plan for 2024-2028. Launched in early 2024, the vision of the Plan is ‘Nurturing Success, Inspiring Participation’, while HRI’s mission is ‘To Protect, Strengthen and Sustain our Global Leading Industry’.
Sharleen O’Reilly - Implementation Manager – Strategic Projects
As Implementation Manager – Strategic Projects, Sharleen leads and manages the implementation of key strategic organisational projects across the breadth of HRI’s Strategic Plan by developing the frameworks necessary for the organisation to achieve its strategic growth objectives, leading engagement with stakeholders to embed change and secure support.
Geraldine Heffernan - Administration Executive
Ger supports Jason and Sharleen across the breadth of their responsibilities in ensuring the timely delivery and efficient execution of HRI’s Strategic Plan 2024-2028, as well as continuing to provide support to the Racing Department team.
