Listowel racecourse situated in the town of Listowel in Co. Kerry is home to both jump and flat racing. The racetrack is best known for its Harvest Festival which is a weeklong meeting taking place each September. The festival caters for both flat and jump racing and is a left-handed track. The Harvest festival is renowned for being fun filled with lots of entertainment, and it draws in huge crowds from far and wide, with an action-packed programme both on and off the course.
Listowel racecourse has a lot to offer during its festival including fashion competitions across the week. With dedicated days for Ladies, Men, Sustainable/Vintage, Blue jeans and fancy dress there is something for everyone. One of the top races held at Listowel is the Guinness Kerry National, which attracts many classy horses with many previous winners also winning the Aintree Grand National.
Listowel racecourse also holds a three-day meeting at the June Bank Holiday weekend consisting of best dressed competitions, entertainment and fun for all ages, which makes it another Irish festival not to be missed!

Regular train service from Dublin (Heuston Station) to Tralee and Limerick from where there are special bus services to Listowel during the festival.

The nearest airport to Listowel is Kerry (KIR) Airport which is 29.8 km away. Other nearby airports include Shannon (SNN) (46.8 km) and Cork (ORK) (95.1 km).
