Meet the Trainers as they open their doors to welcome you in to watch horses on the gallop and meet the team that look after them. Visitors will also get the opportunity to get up close to horses in the yard, see the facilities and ask trainers all they need to know about training racehorses.

The Curragh Racecourse is delighted to announce a new visitor experience outside of race days with the launch of Behind the Scenes tours.
Take a fully guided tour behind the scenes at the Curragh Racecourse, to locations that are strictly off-limits to the public on race days and gain an insight into what it is like to experience a race day as a jockey, a groom, a racehorse trainer and a racehorse owner. Whether you are a seasoned racing fan or a first-time visitor, we will share unique insights, both human and equine, that will stay with you forever and enhance your future race going experience.
Located in the heart of the Golden Vale, the FHC Experience offers visitors the opportunity to discover the rich culture, heritage and history of the region. Part of Ireland’s Ancient East, this interactive experience examines the relationship between the people, the land and the horse revealing how they are all inextricably linked.
Spread out over two floors within C17th Tholsel building the interactive nature of the exhibition makes it an enjoyable and informative experience for all ages.
