Leopardstown Christmas Festival
The Leopardstown Christmas Festival takes place annually from December 26th - 29th.
A long standing highlight of the Irish sport and social calendar, The Leopardstown Christmas Festival offers an exhilarating day out for sporting fans, socialites and thrill-seekers alike.
The impressive racing programme guarantees four days of the very the best jumps racing. Racegoers can enjoy course wide entertainment, and live music in the festival marquee every day.
There are many highlights over the course of the four days, including seven Grade 1 races, fashion activations and the famous family day on December 29th.
26th December
The opening day of the Festival, featuring the Grade 2 Knight Frank Novice Hurdle and the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase which has been won by the likes of Douvan, Ferny Hollow and Found A Fifty
27th December
Unleash the thrill of horse racing on Paddy Power Day! Last year, over 17,000 racegoers attended Day 2 to cheer on winners in the the Grade 1 Paddy Power Chase and Grade 1 Paddy Power Future Champions Hurdle.
The air will once again be charged with excitement, with music and entertainment throughout the day.
28th December
The Savills Chase Day is the third day of the festival and features the Grade One Savills Chase and The Grade One Christmas Hurdle. The Savills chase has been won by some high quality Chasers such as Conflated, A Plus Tard, Delta Work and Kemboy.
29th December
The fourth and final day of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, a day for all the family where there will be lots of fun activities from Face Painters, Games and bouncy castles!
There will also be top class racing which will feature two Grade Ones including the Matheson Hurdle and the Neville Hotels Novice Chase.
